In Bhubaneswar, Odisha, Rama Devi Women's University was founded in 1964. This is the first women's college in the history of Orissa. Since then, it has lead the state's efforts to promote high-quality education. The university provides a variety of courses at the UG, graduate, and PG levels, including BA, B.Sc., and B.Com.

The results of the 12th exam are used to determine admission to UG programme.

Passing marks in the applicable graduation degree is the minimum requirement for PG courses, and admission is offered based on entrance exam results, viva-voce, and career marks.

In order to complete the M.Phil. programme, one must have a consistently strong academic record with at least 55% marks in the Master's.

Admission to the M.Phil. programme is determined by the applicant's entrance exam score and qualifying exam results.
